We offer Private Cross-Country Ski Lessons that aim to teach you the basics of the sport, refine your technique and discover the beauty of the Davos-Klosters mountains region, which is the crown jewel of Nordic Skiing in the Alps. 

Our Private classes are designed to fit your individual needs and get you to progress at your own pace. Flexibility and Customer Care are the key features of our lessons, as we will assist in all the logistics concerning your class, from location and duration to ski rental and ski-pass.

Half - Day Cross-Country Ski (2 Hours)

We recommend Half Day to all first timers and skiers will limited physical fitness.

Skate Cross-Country Skiing and Classic Cross-Country Skiing

Our Cross-Country Ski instructors specialize in both cross-country skiing techniques: Skating and Classic.

Classic

This is the technique that cross-country ski was born with. The beauty of this method is its simplicity and efficiency. It allows you to cover long distances with a moderate effort. The Classic technique is highly recommended to anyone that has never tried cross-country skiing before, and wants a first easy and safe experience.

Skating

This technique came later in time and allows nordic skiers to reach higher speed and perform more fun and dynamic movement. Staking is recommended to everyone that already has some experience or it is looking for a more fun and challenging experience.

Beginner Cross-Country Ski Lessons

Who are they for?

Our beginner lessons are designed for everyone that has just approached the sport for the first time, or has a few days of prior experience.

How does it work?

Especially when you are a beginner, and you do not know exactly what to expect from cross-country skiing,  you wish for things to be the easier and clearer possible:

  1. Duration:

The lessons can have a duration of Half Day (2.5 hours) or Full Day (5 hours). We recommend the Half Day to all first timers or skiers with limited physical fitness. On the other hand we recommend Full Day lessons to all enthusiasts with already a little previous experience and good endurance.

  1. Location and Meeting Points:

Davos Dorf: Intersport Bunda

Davos Platz: Bardill Sport Jakobshorn

Our beginner lesson’s meeting points are conveniently located in designated beginner areas, ensuring a safe and supportive environment to learn the fundamentals of cross-country skiing. These areas offer access to essential facilities such as cafés, restrooms, and ski rental services. Additionally, the meeting points are easily accessible by public transport or car, making them highly convenient for all.

  1. Material and Rental:

The rental of the material is not included in the price of the lessons, however our instructors will be more than happy to help you with the rental process and you’ll be able to take advantage of our 15‰ discount at Bardill Sport Shop in Davos Platz.

  • Basic technique Classic or Skating Technique

  • Safety on the skis

Intermediate and Advanced Cross-Country Ski Lesson

Who are they for?

Intermediate and Advanced Cross-Country Lessons are designed for all recreational nordic skiers that want to improve their technique, refine their skills or improve their performance.

How does it work?

These classes evolve around your cross-country skiing experience and fitness. Just let us know what are your expectations and what aspects of your technique you would like to perfect, and we will structure the lesson to meet your needs:

  1. Duration:

Your session can have a duration of Half Day (2.5 hours) or Full Day (5 hours). We recommend the Half Day if your goal is to improve your technique, while if you also aim to discover the resort of Davos or boost your fitness performance, we suggest the Full Day.

  1. Location and Meeting Points:

Our recommended meeting points are Intersport Bunda in Davos Dorf or Bardill Sport in Davos Platz. However if you have a different preferred meeting point, let us know and we’ll happily meet you there.

  1. Material and Rental:
